Fine flyaway hair can sometimes be a nuisance to manage.  Here are a few tips that should help and not cost a fortune.

• Avoid wispy styles as they’ll accentuate fine hair. Have your hair cut regularly to keep the ends sharp and choose a style that has strong external lines.
• Only wash your hair when it’s dirty and use conditioner sparingly, keeping it off the roots and scalp.
• A good quality bristle brush like a Denman Bristle Radial will help add body and control fine flyaway hair. These can be left in the hair to cool and set.
• Use a good quality mousse when you blow-dry.  Don’t use too much and concentrate on applying it to the roots.
• Use your dryer on slow speed and low heat settings so that it doesn’t dry too quickly or create flyaway strands.
• Finally, colour can help make hair appear fuller and services like semi-permanents needn’t be expensive.

Celebrated barber MK has won the prestigious ‘Barber of the Year’ award for the second year running at the Black Beauty Hair Awards 2009.

Salon International 2009 was an exceptional event for Denman typified by the inspiring educational presentations provided by Mark Woolley and the Electric Art Team.  Using a theme of the Return of the Hairdresser the team created a selection of show-stopping looks on their gorgeous models using a variety of traditional and modern Denman brushes.  The showreel captures the essence of a fantastic weekend of cutting edge hairdressing.
